GovEnergy Speaker Rolodex
The GovEnergy Workshop and Trade Show provides effective energy management training to federal employees and their stakeholders. GovEnergy fosters opportunities to further educate and encourage the best application of practices, products, and services related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, water efficiency, and greenhouse gas management in the federal sector.
GovEnergy is always on the lookout for new speakers for the Techncial Training Program. Speakers play an essential role in the GovEnergy Workshop. In addition to delivering a presentation, speakers are expected to actively engage in the planning and preparation process for their session. Speaker responsibilities include:
- Review, understand, and follow the learning objectives, description, and intent statement(s) for their session
- Participate in conference calls with the Session Lead and co-presenters
- Prepare and submit a presentation in the GovEnergy PowerPoint template for review and approval by the Session Lead and/or Track Manager
- Adhere to all deadlines
- Avoid sales and commercial language in workshop presentations

Submissions to the GovEnergy Speaker Rolodex are reviewed in an ongoing basis. In order to be considered, applicants must demonstrate proficiency in a topic relevant to the GovEnergy Technical Training Program. Individuals who have presented at GovEnergy previously will not automatically be included in the GovEnergy Speaker Rolodex. If selected, applicants will be contacted by a member of the GovEnergy Planning Committee. Applicants will receive confirmation of their application but will not otherwise be notified of their selection status.
Please note: If selected, speakers are responsible for their own hotel and travel expenses.
